My name is Courtney. I am an almost 30 year old (almost… not quite) mother to three amazing and beautiful children. I have two girls “Bug” (11) and “Sunshine” (9) and a wonderful son “Little Dude” ( or LD, almost 3). Those three are my life. They keep me moving and growing every day. In 2013 I married my best friend. While we have been together since we were teenagers, we waited a long time to get married and I couldn’t be happier with that choice.
We live in a small house, in a small town in south east Michigan. For the last almost 10 years I have been a medical assistant. I have been in the same small but very busy family practice for 7 of those years.
I have always been passionate about healthcare. I’ve known since I was very young that my path would lead me to the medical field. My goal in life is to use my knowledge, and my compassion to help as many people live a better life as I possibly can.
With MI Little Moments, my aim is to share as much medical information as I can, in the hopes that I can make even just one persons life a little easier. I will be posting monthly information regarding national health months, such as breast cancer awareness in October.
I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about healthcare and the field of medicine. From sharing basic medical information to answering questions regarding health insurance or other common practices in the doctors office.
Aside from my healthcare knowledge I will also be sharing some everyday stories from my life as a mother, and a wife. Also I will share any tips, tricks, or just some inspiration in the hope that I can help other busy moms like me get through their hectic and busy lives.
I’m sure everyone in my shoes can agree that being a full-time working mom is hard. We miss out on so much of our children’s lives, because we are too busy trying to make their lives better.
I am looking forward to getting to know other moms like me who sacrifice everything for the people who mean everything to them. I hope I can in someway help to make your life a little easier. If not, then I hope I can at least let you know that you are not alone. Maybe, hopefully I’ll even make some new friends.
I hope to see you all soon. As I am new here, I also hope you will please let me know how I’m doing. Thank you for reading!
All the best,
